My background
Nina Cejnar is an economist who has spent the past 18 years working closely with investors and entrepreneurs across different contexts, from early microfinance pioneers to international funds, family offices, and ventures.
Over time, she has seen that many of the challenges in investing are not primarily technical, but emerge in how decisions are made, how relationships are navigated, and how capital interacts with the systems it enters.
This has shaped her work today: focusing not only on what to invest in, but on how investors and entrepreneurs engage with capital, power, and responsibility in practice.
Alongside her investment work, she has co-founded ventures and supported businesses through critical phases of growth and tension, experiences that continue to form her perspective.
Her approach integrates investment practice with systemic and relational work, bringing deeper awareness of human dynamics into how capital is deployed and governed.

My personal journey
My life is an ongoing journey of connection, opening my heart and learning to see the abundance that already exists.
Nature and impact investing have been my entry points.
Nature taught me how to simply be.
Impact investing gave me a sense of purpose.
I see nature, including us humans, as real wealth: complex, life-serving, and at times challenging.
Observing it has brought me both clarity and humility.
Impact Investing has been one of my strongest teachers.
It brings solutions to pressing problems, while also revealing the deeper tensions and shadows within our system.
Meeting these with openness has shown me the resilience of people and nature, and the possibility to find strengths and beauty in difficult situations.
